LUCKY HIGHWAY 13 TOURISM INITIATIVE
The Town of Provost has partnered with 11 communities on Highway 13 to take part in an "all rubber traffic" tourism idea to help promote our communities and to give ideas to those who like to take a drive on a beautiful weekend. Starting with the photo scavenger hunt that begins on May long weekend and ends on the end of September, you can travel to the communities named within and take a photo of the icons identified by each community and enter your photo to win some great prizes. Last year over 250 photos were entered. Last year we also concentrated on motorcycle enthusiasts and because of the great response we decided to include all rubber traffic. Then on July 21, 2018 starting in Wetaskiwin you can have a pancake breakfast and then travel east to Provost to end out the day with a "Duffer Dog". Drop into a communpick a card. The best poker hand could get you $1000 in cash. Check out the website luckyhighway13.com and find out more.
