In order to vote, you must produce identification for inspection. The identification must be one or more of the following:

a) one piece of identification by a Canadian Government, whether Federal, Provincial or Local, or an agency of the government, that contains a photograph of the elector and his or her name and current address, or

b) one piece of identification authorized by the Chief Electoral Officer under the Election Act for the purpose of section 95(1)(a)(ii) of the of the Elections Act that establishes the elector’s name and current address.

As required by section 53 of the Local Authorities Election or local Bylaw.
